SOLAR ELECTRICITY AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS

Solar, or photovoltaic (PV), generated electricity has become much more cost effective in recent years.  Currently, there are also utility company incentives that can make it even more attractive to install PV power, particularly if you are "on the grid.”  We are a SolarWorld Authorized Installer but we have used many different panels and inverters over the years such as Suntech, Solon, Sharp, Yingli, Schott, SMA Solar Technology, Enphase, Power One, and Fronius. 

The typical cost of a solar electrical system is between $4,000 to $6,000 per DC kilowatt installed depending on site specifics, but the final cost can reduced by up to 70 percent depending on utility and tax incentives.  Most importantly from a financial perspective, these systems provide about a 7 to 15 percent return on investment.  From a technical perspective, we are one of the only companies in the State that is owned by a Arizona licensed Professional Electrical Engineer.  Having a company that is operated by a licensed P.E. is the best assurance you can have of a correctly designed system given the legal protections it affords.
