Community Solar Program

Sunpower has developed a volume buying program for "community groups" be they physical, like neighborhood associations, or virtual, like social networks, interested in promoting solar in their "community".  The program is very simple.  The more people or businesses who sign up to install solar within their community during a 60 day period increases the discount for all.  The volume discounts are as follows: 2 systems = 2%, 3 systems = 3%, 4 systems = 4%, 5+ systems = 5%.  Any potential discounts beyond 5% would be based on the specifics of the projects and the logistics involved.   

The normal process is for a community sponsor to work with Sunpower on how to best publicize the program.  That can include kick off meetings, emails, flyers, or whatever works the best for the specific group.
